Gaelle Haag is the CEO and Co-founder of Capitana, a platform that describes itself as a woman’s best financial friend. Gaelle has spent almost 15 years in advisory and private banking. During her career, she was struck by the low proportion of women in the client base of the banks she worked with.
Gaëlle decided to make this problem her mission, giving women the knowledge and tools to better save and invest in order to achieve their life goals. Having raised more than 1.5 million from various actors including the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, she developed capitana.app, an investment platform that combines financial education and 100% digital portfolio management, with a focus on responsible and sustainable investment.
Through her mission, Gaëlle is often involved in workshops and seminars on the subject of economic empowerment, financial independence and impact investing.
