About Marianne Donven

After an initial career at Arbed (now ArcelorMittal), Marianne Donven worked in development aid and humanitarian projects for the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Her experience in the field has enabled her to develop a huge respect for vulnerable populations. After carrying out humanitarian missions and integration projects in Luxembourg, Marianne ended up welcoming young migrants into her home, before co-founding CHICHE! restaurants.

Today, her company employs 72 migrants and refugees at six sites (Limpertsberg, Esch, Bonnevoie, Mudam Café, Bettange/Mess and Ettelbruck).

On the occasion of the first WIB Get Together of the year, Marianne will share her journey – both professional and personal – in a light-hearted and hopeful testimony, and giving us the chance to taste some delicious oriental specialities.

As all our profits go to charities, no refund will be proposed in case of cancelation.
