This event invites you to discover how data is becoming a strategic asset for the country—and what it means for businesses and society. \n\n\n\nEmma Perez Veiga\, a talented Mathematician and Data Analysis Engineer from LuxProvide\, will : \n\n\n\nDemystify what a supercomputer really is\, \n\n\n\nExplain the unique features of Meluxina\, Luxembourg’s national supercomputer\, \n\n\n\nShare real-world use cases that show how it is transforming research\, business and innovation. \n\n\n\nThe second part of the lunch will focus on engineering careers and the opportunities for women in tech and data-driven industries. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTwo speakers will guide you : \n\n\n\nCécile Lorenzini\, Director of Marketing & Communication at Luxinnovation\, will explain why Luxembourg is making data a national priority and how this shift is reshaping industries\, innovation\, and competitiveness. \n\n\n\nEmma Perez Veiga\, Mathematician and Data Analysis Engineer\, will demystify what a supercomputer really is\, how it works\, and why Meluxina\, Luxembourg’s national supercomputer\, is a game-changer for research\, business\, and technology. \n\n\n\nAbout Emma PEREZ VEIGA \n\n\n\nEmma is a mathematician with a Master’s degree in Data Analysis Engineering and currently works as a Junior Solutions Engineer at LuxProvide\, where she develops AI solutions and high-performance computing (HPC) applications. \n\n\n\nHer professional journey includes traineeships at the European Investment Bank\, within the Model Validation team\, and as a research assistant in data science at Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera. With experience in data science\, machine learning and AI\, Emma combines strong analytical skills with a passion for driving data-driven innovation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAbout Cécile LORENZINI – Luxinnovation Marketing & Communication Director – Championing innovation and meaningful impact in Luxembourg \n\n\n\nCécile Lorenzini is a seasoned marketing and communication leader with a strong track record in driving strategic initiatives that shape Luxembourg’s innovation landscape.
